Sid Meier s Civilization II, a.k.a. Civ II, is a turn-based strategy computer 
game designed by Brian Reynolds, Douglas Caspian-Kaufman and Jeff Briggs. 
Although it is a sequel to Sid Meier s Civilization, neither Sid Meier nor 
Bruce Shelley were involved in its development. Civilization II was first 
released in 1996 for the PC and later ported to the Sony PlayStation.
In 2002 Atari re-released the game for newer operating systems, such as Windows 
Me and Windows XP. The Multiplayer Gold Edition was included in the Civilization
Chronicles box set released in 2006. Civilization II: Multiplayer Gold Edition, 
besides possessing multiplayer functionality also includes every Civilization II 
expansion and many additional scenareos.
This is a new Release of Civilization II: Multiplayer Gold Edition. While the 
original release and many other releases did contain all the necessary files for 
a clean install of Civilization II: Multiplayer Gold Edition, they were flawed 
by a critical Vista installation and playability problems, stability issues, 
audio-video problems, and poor documentation. By converting the content to a 
portable format, providing working cracks and better documentation, and including 
the Official and Unofficial  patches, these issues have been resolved. It is 
note worthy that this release is the  full  release in contrast to the  thin 
release, and as such it has had all audio and video files included regardless of
necessity.

                                 Install Notes

Steps:
 1.  Extract the  Civilization II - Multiplayer Gold Edition.rar  file to a 
directory of your choice and then Navigate to the extracted directory  by 
default this is the  Civilization II - Multiplayer Gold Edition  directory . 
 2.  Double-click of the  CIVILIZATION II - SCENARIOS PATCH.EXE  if scenareo
functionality is desired. Double-click on the  CIVILIZATION II - MULTIPLAYER 
GOLD EDITION  binary/executable.
Note: This release is portable and therefore the binaries/executables within 
make no changes to the game/system files which are already updated, modded, 
and cracked.
Note: The official manuals, and covers are located in the  .EXTRAS  directory.

This release is imminent. This project seeks to combine a Lite  less than 700m 
Vista build, bootscreen, frontend, registry tweaks, several related 
applications, twenty-plus emulators and tens of thousands of various game 
images and roms in an orderly package. This package would then allow a user 
to easily create a SF personal computer  or any other light PC  that would 
act as any console from the first to sixth generation. This has been a huge
undertaking but if it is successful this project will provide the PC scene with 
the first real replacement for consoles. Please understand that projects like 
this one can have unsuspected kinks. Please be patient.

As many of you know opencoop recently released a tech demo of their next project 
Quake 4 Co-op which allows you to traverse most of the levels, with large amounts 
of lag, glitches, and crashes. Once they have a clean version working, this

there is no release date.

 1.  False Postive - The users anti-virus client may detect this programs as a 
Virus or Trojan. This false positive is caused by the binary wrapped scripts   
 UPX  which are utilized as launchers for the games. As these files create hidden 
functionality they appear as threatening to most overzealous virus scanners such
as BitDeffender. Detailed scans have/will indicate that this release neither accesses
